The Cove

This mural is outside of SMWV's new touch tank room. It reflects species of the Indo-Pacific, where the majority of the touch tank animals are from.

Acrocanthosaurus

This small sculpture of Acrocanthosaurus is displayed near the Dino Dig exhibit.

Compsognathus

The little sculpture will be a part of the "Solnhofen Ecosystem" Exhibit.

Rhamphorhynchus

This model will be hung from the ceiling as part of the "Solnhofen Ecosystem" exhibit.

Pterodactylus

A life-sized model of this Jurassic pterosaur featuring a rainbow plumage. Created with various materials.

Archaeopteryx

Archaeopteryx, the iconic fossil that first described the transition from dinosaurs to birds. This roosting Archaeopteryx oversees a clutch of eggs. This was reconstructed with the scientific accuracy of the best of my knowledge. Credit goes to Amanda Collins Bowes for making the feathers.
