Virginia Tech Museum of Geosciences (MOGS)
The summer of 2024, I had the fantastic opportunity to work as an exhibits assistant at the Virginia Tech Museum of Geosciences. I assisted with re-imagining current exhibit designs, as well as graphic elements such as labels and infographics.

01
Specimen Labels
I imagined this fundamental design to serve as the template for all the exhibit specimens. The museum is on-track to replace all its old labels (from the 60's!) with this new design.
02
Timescale of Ancient Life
This is a concept for a re-design of the back cabinet, featuring fossils from almost every geological stage. The direction is a crescendo from the earliest Paleozoic fossils to the late Cenozoic fossils.

03
Cetaceans Cabinet
Another concept re-imagining the Cetacea cabinet, sorting the specimens by either odontoceti (toothed whales) or mysticeti (baleen whales).

T. rex Infographics
I designed a series of infographics for display near the full-sized T-rex skull.
