Radford Amazonian Research Expedition (RARE)
I had the gracious opportunity to create artistic/scientific elements for RARE (Radford Amazonian Research Expedition). An underwater scene was imagined featuring an Amazon River dolphin and a mangrove plant. Over the summer of 2021, I brought these elements to life and display.

Amazon River Dolphin (Boto)
This model is a life-sized Amazon River Dolphin, carved out of styrofoam, and is displayed in the Center for the Sciences building.

Mangrove Plant
The accompanying mangrove plant to the dolphin, also displayed in the Center for the Sciences. Was made innovatively using materials such as a coat hanger, foil, and air-dry Sculpey.
